Suiting Up for Swim Time
Construction on the second phase of LifeTown is getting underway, which means the indoor, zero-entry, therapeutic pool is soon to be a reality. The pool will have numerous interactive elements designed to foster movement and activity among individuals with special needs. Therapists will also be able to work with children who have mobility issues in a safe and welcoming environment.
The Goldberg family has named the pool in loving memory of Diane Goldberg. The Jacobs family also contributed generously towards pool. Locker rooms are being sponsored by Investors Bank Foundation and Devin Kirschenbaum raised funds to sponsor the interactive pods as her bat mitzvah project.
Also set to be completed as part of phase two will be Arthur’s Coffee Shop and the commercial kitchen.
Plans for a grand reopening event is being planned for the fall pending safety regulations.
