Allie’s Winter Camp Thrills Campers

It was a whirlwind of a week for Allie’s Winter Camp participants and volunteers as they were on the go, go, go for winter break enjoying a variety of trips and special events. The 51 campers enjoyed amusement park rides (indoors), arcade games and bowling. They even got to make their own crayons during a visit to the Crayola factory. As Allie’s Winter Camp fell on Chanukah this year, the Festival of Lights was also celebrated with holiday themed projects, fresh sufganiyot (doughnuts) and chocolate “gelt” for the counselors.
