Cool Drink, Hot Idea

Oliver Scheier of Livingston and his younger brother Beau teamed up with FC volunteer Wesley Gelman (standing) for a different kind of Friends@Home visit recently. Instead of the usual things they do when they get together, like play games, the youngsters opened a lemonade stand and raised $80, which was donated to the Friendship Circle.
The Friends@Home program sends teen volunteers to a child’s home each week to foster the bonds of friendship between the teens and the child. It also provides much-needed respite for the parents. Learn more about the Friends@Home here:
