Torah Circle Goes Virtual
Paints and canvas went together in one cellophane sack, recipe cards for winter cookies along with Cocoa, flour, and sugar in another. Then volunteers carefully packed them together in a bag, one for every participant.
Despite the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, the Friendship Circle isn’t missing a beat. Shifting seamlessly to virtual programming, it is offering a virtual Torah Circle for all families this Sunday, January 9.
To get ready, a group of dedicated volunteers gathered January 5 to pack the supplies for the planned activities.
Meanwhile, some programs continue to run in person, like sports, cooking and art for 3-12 year-olds, which started up on Tuesday, January 4.
