FC Distributes 10,000 Masks!
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in mid-March, Friendship Circle has been providing much-needed masks to medical workers, frontline employees and families with special needs members thanks to the generosity of private donors.
The N-95 masks went to area hospital and medical facilities, while basic surgical masks were distributed elsewhere. Several local Jewish organizations were among those who received masks through Friendship Circle, including JESPY House, Jewish Service for the Developmentally Disabled and Daughters of Israel.
“We were so touched by the kindness and generosity of the Friendship Circle. The mask donations they provided will help to protect our frontline heroes,” remarked Susan Grosser, Executive Director of Daughters of Israel. “Our heartfelt thanks goes to the Friendship Circle staff for thinking about us during this challenging time.”
