Celebrate Purim at LifeTown!

Purim is just around the corner, and Friendship Circle is hosting a variety of must-see events to celebrate one of the most festive Jewish holidays of the year.  

On Wednesday, March 12, grab an apron and rolling pin for a community Hamantash Bake at LifeTown. This scrumptious event, which kicks off at 6:30PM, is sure to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth and usher in the holiday spirit. Participants will help make the symbolic pastry in multiple delicious flavors all while celebrating with friends.

LifeTown is also hosting three Megillah readings, recounting the important story of the Purim miracle. These special readings will take place on Thursday, March 13 at 7:15PM, and Friday, March 14 at 10AM and 5:30PM.

Finally, on Friday, March 14 at 5:30PM, a joyous Fabulous Friday Night will take place at LifeTown. This Shabbat event celebrates Purim and will be held in loving memory of Friendship Circle volunteer Barbara Zinbarg. Guests can expect a gourmet Shabbat dinner, lively Friday night services, children’s activities in the playground and gym, and a family fun game show hosted by Hollyrock Entertainment. Children are encouraged to dress in costume and the event is open to the general public.
