Prestigious Jefferson Award Goes to …
Representing Friendship Circle and LifeTown, Toba and Rabbi Zalman Grossbaum were honored ea rlier this year with a New Jersey State Governor’s Jefferson Award. The award, which was started by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1972, highlighted FC and LifeTown’s promotion of volunteerism and dedication to children with special needs and their families. The Grossbaums were selected from hundreds of other entries and received their award from Multiplying Good, which oversees the Jefferson Awards, during a ceremony in September at the state’s Grounds for Sculpture.
