FC Kickoff Filled With Friendship & Fun

What an amazing night! More than a hundred teens descended on Funplex on Wednesday night for this year’s Friendship Circle Volunteer Kickoff Event. Teens learned about this year’s slate of FC programming and got the scoop of how they can help ensure that programs will be successful and beneficial to volunteers and participants alike. Veteran teen volunteers were also happy to spend time with friends and classmates. Teens who have not participated in a Friendship Circle training before learned more about what the Friendship Circle is and how to make their volunteerism meaningful. There’s was also plenty of fun to be had. Everyone enjoyed the night — as evident by all the empty boxes of pizza and all the stuffed animals, keychains and other prizes the teens won after they played the arcade games.
