From Russia, With Love

The Friendship Circle hosted a delegation of 34 women from Moscow in May during the group’s trip to the area. The women toured the future home of LifeTown, which will provide place where people of all abilities can enjoy recreational activities, afterschool programs and social events. They also learned about the ways the Friendship Circle works to create an inclusive society for children with special needs and their families. According to Aidy Kuravsky, a Chabad emissary in Moscow and one of the trip’s organizers, the women were very moved by what they saw and heard. “They were very impressed by the unconditional love the Friendship Circle gives to children and the efforts to integrate them into regular life,” Kuravsky said.
